[Elecraft] About BL2 Balun

Hi folks

A question about BL2  Wideband 1:1 & 4:1 (Switchable) Balun. Does it also
have some kind of'choking' effect (to reduce or eliminate currents on the
outside of the coax)... or is it just a balun (TLT) to transform impedances
?
