[Elecraft] Using a PC headset with K3, connections

Hi Greg , I see the Headsetbuddy uses the identical mounting fixture that the Ant Lion Mod Mic uses.  I am not sure if the mic is the same but they both may be buying the units from BY and reselling them. have you tried the Headsetbuddy option?  I just ordered one yesterday for the QC15.  I have not heard of the AntLion.

  I have used several computer type mics on the back input as long as they are a 1/8 mono plug and the bias is turned on for the electret types.  They have all worked fine for me but to get them to sound better setting up the mic equalization in the Main Menu is needed.  I am using an AntLion at present that attaches to any earphone.  I am using it on a Bose QC15.
