GM: If you are looking for a unit to provide remote AC power switching, checkout the Professional 4-port Remote Power Switch from Ambery (Model IP-P3) see http://www.ambery.com/prreposwphco.htm

It can be remotely controlled via phone or web control and provides four separately switched AC outlets. In our remote station, I have 6 outlet power bars plugged into the first three switched AC outlets and a separate primary power relay controlled by the 4th outlet. The K3 power supply goes to the first power bar, other accessories (1216H & L from Microbit) and T2X rotators go to the 2nd & 3rd power bars and the 4th is used to control primary power to the KPA500.

Ours has been in use for over a year (using only internet control) and has operated without any problems.

I was on 80 meters and saw a HI SWR warning come on the KPA500 software, but not on the KAT500 software. I clicked the "Clear Error" area and then received a Comm ERR.

I re-started the software and it gave me an error message saying it could not make contact with the KPA500. I closed all the running programs on the remote PC, and then did a re-boot. All is working well except for the KPA500 software. I keep getting an error message telling me the KPA500 remote is not running and it can't find the amp.
