[Elecraft] (fwd) Re: KPA500 Fan Power Connector issue

I built my KPA500 a couple of weeks ago.  I also had the long pins but 
didn't find anything about trimming them when I searched.  I just went 
ahead and pushed the connector down onto the pins as far as it would go 
and left it, so I have some exposed pin between the bottom of the 
connector and the board.

I'm wondering if I should take it apart and trim them?  Curious if 
there's any potential issue with leaving it as-is.  It works just fine, 
at least right now...
