[Elecraft] [K3] Residual 700 Hz 8-Pole Filters & New 700 Hz Filter "Slideshow" Page

We expect to receive a few "residual" 700 Hz filters from INRAD in the
next week or two.  We've already contacted everyone on our waiting list,
and we've also posted a message about the filters on our "700 Hz Filter"
Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/700.Hz.K3.filter

HOWEVER!  PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR WEBSITE STILL STATES THAT THE THIRD
PRODUCTION RUN HAS SOLD OUT!  Most likely, these extra filters will sell
out before I can update our website, so for the moment, I'm just going to
wait and see what happens.  

If you want to get one of these residual 700 Hz filters, versus probably
having to wait until 2014 for the next batch, then please register via our
"preorder waiting list" page at http://www.unpcbs.com/list/ -- BEING CERTAIN
to specify the quantity you wish to purchase.

Ken or I will contact you to let you know whether or not you made "the
cut".  If you did, we will request your paid order within 24 hours.  If
you didn't (make the cut), then you'll have the option of cancelling your
preorder, or waiting until we have sufficient interest to commission the
next batch; which might take anywhere from two to eight weeks.

Band conditions permitting, many CW operators prefer a 600 to 800 Hz
passband setting.  They find the default (norm) 400 Hz width too
"constricting" for scanning the bands.  Kind of like trying to view the
world through a drinking straw, while riding a bicycle!

P.S.  The scaling of the slideshow images is proportional to the measured
widths of all but the 500 Hz filter.  The 500, is an average of the 1000,
700, and 400 Hz filter "deltas", and probably to within plus or minus 3%.
