Hello Richard,
I can give it a try to help you debugging the problem. I have some time (hi)
just completed an K1 upgrade KFL1-4, now QRV on 40m/30m/20m/17m!!
No Relays functioning, most likely U1 is not running its program, or does
not receive commands via AUX bus.
Question: Are you able to turn on/off the attennuator? Also the the
Attenuator is controlled by the microcontroller on the filter board.
I assume you can not.
--> U1 is not running it's program
Please double check:
1) P1 and P2, if you have all soldered, did not miss a pin. P2 contains
signals that makes communciation with the main controller possible.
2) Especially verify 6R/Aux signal from Main U1 pin8 to Filter U1 pin 13
RB7, did you forget the 100ohm?? R1
3) Double check if resonator is correct mounted?
Please let me know your next update on troubleshooting. Also let me know
what measuremetn tols you have, DMM, Anloge meter, Oscilloscope, I will
adjust my next feedback on your tools.
