Maybe because the description of the KL500V says "This amp does not work well with Flex or KX3."

And because the amp is not certified for US amateur radio, despite the headline. The description says, "These units are for industrial, scientific, medical, or export use only."

Finally, it does not appear to have any output filtering at all.
