[Elecraft] Dirty signals was: K3 and Mutek Transverter combo?

Gentlemen,
Those "rough" CW signals were caused by Aurora propagation.  There was a bit of it happening during the contest due to a rather strong Geomagnetic storm that happened just prior to the start of the contest.  Visible Aurora was actually seen as far south as Kansas!
