That problem was taken care several years ago not long after Rob brought it
to their attention, it's fine now no issues.

Has Elecraft made any progress towards repairing the ugly audio that Rob
Sherwood discusses in his presentation.  This is the only thing that keeps
me from buying or trying a K3 at this point.  My hearing is limited and the
ears are very finicky about certain ranges. 
Unfortunately, I don't have access to a K3 to play with at this point.
