[Elecraft] KX3 and JT65 (aka digital modes) ALC "problem"

I have a SignaLink USB attached to my KX3. I jumpered the header IAW the
directions on their web site. I did not turn off mic bias. It works fine.
You are correct. DATA A does turn off compression and the equaliztion.
There have been a few notes going around the last few days about PSK-31
and the KX3. Those notes are very informative and I suggest you do a
review of them. They are applicable to all digital modes. I know I
learned something that I had overlooked.
