Yes, Mozilla officially no longer supports Thunderbird, but there are
still occasional updates, strange as it may seem. Current version is
17.0.7. It's an excellent mail client, and has a plug-in calendar and
scheduler. My preferred mail client prior to switching to Thunderbird
was Eudora... Qualcomm long ago stopped supporting it, but it's still
used by a number of power users. Although Outlook is firmly entrenched
in industry and academia, I personally dislike the program, and refuse
to use it.
