[Elecraft] Shipping a K3

I'm going to be shipping my K3. Any suggestions on the most 
affordable way considering insurance? I'll be packing it myself, 
double boxed with good padding and am thinking USPS 1st class. 
Haven't sent out anything pricey in years.
