I use a set of Senheiser noise canceling headphones when our 
ARES/RACES works the Los Gatos Children's Christmas parade. They 
are comfortable for at least a couple of hours and help hearing 
when a marching band is playing nearby.

They aren't noise canceling, but my wife complains that I can't 
hear her when I'm wearing them HIHI.
