Sorry Ariel, Hit the wrong button...Should of course have sent it to the
list instead of you.
I tried NaP3 but I'm afarid I am too much a HDSDR type so I get stuck on
using PowerSDR and it's derivatives.
I tried NaP3 with my simple SoftRock mixer on 30 meters and found that
indeed it automatically calibrates the I/Q phase and amplitude and does
that quite fast. Using the second VFO I could receive signals but trying
to tune the first one does not work, it stays put on 0 Hz. I can choose
all sorts of transceivers but not the simple I/Q mixers, as in HDSDR. I
have HDSDR working with my KX3 and will hook it up to NaP3 and post my
findings.
To Al:
One of the most important things is to use an audio cable with an 1:1
isolation transformer between the KX3 and the computer/soundcard input.
Much of the noise you see stems from all sorts of ground loops.
To be continued...

Peter
