Bob,
I have a couple of SGC-230s. They do solve a lot of problems. Loops do work well. I have used them on and off for a long time.
I don't know your situation, but if you have a "typical" house, whatever that is, I would suggest a trip to Home Depot and pick up some insulated stranded wire. The color should match the color of your roof. Run the wire as a loop along the periphery of your roof. Put the tuner at the feed point where it is hard to see, and then go for it. Don 't get anal over total length as the tuner will make up for bad numbers. Do not use RG-58 as your feed line. Use something like RG-8X, LMR-240, or good quality RG-8. This should work very well and will be almost impossible to see from the street.

Does anyone have any experience using multi-turn loop antennas with SGC¹s
(or other) antenna tuners?
SGC describes these in their book Smartuners for Stealth Antennas. See
http://www.sgcworld.com/Publications/Books/stealthbook.pdf
I have a K3 and live in a HOA community with significant antenna
restrictions, so I am looking for a small antenna.
