[Elecraft] Good Battery for K3 Portable Ops

Hi Paul,

I run my K3 at 100 watts out using a 35 Ah SLA battery.  (Powersonic PS-12350NB)  I chose that size because it is about the heaviest one I can lift easily.  I have run it for hours, in fact have never been able to run it down.  Good idea to get a Powersonic charger that matches the battery, too.  The service life of the battery is extended if you keep it topped up.  Another nifty accessory is an N8XJK Marine Booster that goes between your battery and your rig.  It outputs 14.1 V so long as the battery voltage is above some preset value --- I use 11 V.
