Luc,

I really cannot tell whether you have a K3 problem or an antenna problem 
with the information you have provided.
If you have access to a signal generator with a 50 uV output (Elecraft 
XG1, XG2 or XG3 will do nicely), first connect it to the normal antenna 
jack - you should see S-9 if your S-meter is properly calibrated.  If it 
is not S-9 you can calibrate the S-meter or somply note the deflection.

Next, put the signal generator on the RX ANT (turn RX ANT on) and you 
should have the same S-meter deflection.

If the S-meter readings are substantially different, you have a K3 
problem, but if the signal generator provides the same S-meter reading, 
you have an antenna problem to solve.
