[Elecraft] KX3 getting noise when I plug it into my computer.

When using my kx3 as a base and I plug my computer into it to use maclogger. 
The radio noise goes way up and makes it difficult to hear what I was
hearing clearly prior to plugging it in.  How can I elimenate the excess
noise?  I have all the options on my kx3.
