[Elecraft] KXPD3 upgrade now being tested

Hi all,

We have about a dozen volunteers field-testing some improvements to  
the KXPD3. The upgrade includes:

   - revised keyer paddle PC board that improves contact grounding
   - two new springs with roughly 50 and 75% of the tension of the  
original
   - stainless steel contact standoffs
   - stainless steel oval-head set screws

The upgrade was based on a review of the modifications that we and  
several of our customers have made to the KXPD3. I believe this will  
eliminate all of the issues discussed, making the paddle easier to use  
and more adaptable to customer needs.

I'll let you know when the upgrade kits are available.
