[Elecraft] XG3 Quesiton

Does the XG3 have the stability and output power to be used as a VFO for older 
(1950-60s) CW and Phone rigs like the T-50, DX-40, etc.?

Are there software programs that have been written that allows "VFO" operation?

 In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply.  If you don't 
have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it.  If you can't find any 
Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense.  Is Common 
Sense divine?
