Good Evening,
     Greetings from the soggy, but no longer dusty, Pacific Northwest.  
There have been spates of sunshine now and then but they do not last 
long.  Next thing you know it the fog is rushing past and the rains 
begin.  During the breaks I keep banging away on the woodpile; it keeps 
me warm.  Where the temperatures had been in the low 60s now they are in 
the mid 40s with nights nearing freezing.
    I have not been on the air all week.  My only radio time has been 
spent following the playoffs.  Today was odd though: there was no 
baseball game at all :(  It looks like the Series will only be better.  
It is fun to listen to a game on AM radio with the fading, interference, 
and static.  Then when they change over to the nighttime power rating 
the signal drops.Reminds me of my first radio shows on the 5 tube 
Emerson rig in the kitchen.  The Shadow knows.
