[Elecraft] KX3 I/Q to soundcard isolation

I do connect KX3 I&Q directly into my MacBookPro stereo in-line without any additional isolation too and it works great without any problem at all running under a parallels desktop virtual machine.
Is there any special reason to isolate this line ?
