[Elecraft] Inhibit connection between K3 - KPA500 - KAT500

Subject: Inhibit connection between K3 - KPA500 - KAT500

Preparing the cables for the planed KTA500, I have a question: 
does the handshake between KPA500 and KAT500 need the inhibit line (ACC pin 11) and for what purpose? Remark: no frequency band shall be inhibited.
DIGOUT1 (K3 - ACC pin 11)  is used in my setup to power up the preamplifier on 6m. In order to do that, I had to isolate the pin 11 on the ACC cable going to the KPA500.
