[Elecraft] [K3] need help with hiss on ssb receive

My # 3935 did NOT have the mod. I installed it. I still would describe my audio as harsh and hissy with either the internal speaker, external speakers, or cans. 

I certainly wouldn't get rid of the rig because of it.
