[Elecraft] Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA8 Battery 9x problems

I used these batteries in photo cameras and in KX1 with great success.
However, not much luck with KX3 as the voltage drop is 2V even at 5W. KX3
manual may warn about it.  

For serious work I use Li-Ion 14.8V 4.8Ah attached externally. Now I am
traveling, and after many contacts from OH, ES and now PA0, this battery is
still full. I believe that 14.8V 2.4 or 2.8AH battery would be sufficient;
it weights about the same as 8 AA Lithium.
