According the TRLog manual its not able to do speeds between 4800 and
57600. it seems that the manual here is only partly correct. I
don't see a way to set bits and stop bits, I think this is assumed when
you set the rig type. In this case Kenwood. So I tried 38400 it and
it seems to have improved it but still takes Two or three seconds or so
to update whats strange is that RIT and anything that TR send to the
K3 are instant. just slow back. example if I change bands using TRlog
the K3 does it instantly it takes TR a few seconds to realize it.
sometimes TRlog changes to a completely different band for a second or
two. but now its broken when booted in DOS TRlog has problems. at
38400 it is really bad. and updates sometimes and then only after a
long wait. perhapse that is why those speeds are not in the manual.
I think I can live with this, since its updating much faster than
before. Now if I can convince the group to get with the 21st century
we wouldn't have these problems Don't get me wrong TRlog is a very
well written piece of software. its just not really happy in windows.
Changing bands is solved. it was an error in the config that
limited TR to one band. On 5/26/2012 11:24 PM, Guy Olinger K2AV wrote:
