Looking at Fred's graphic, I've chosen AGC SLP 004 and AGC THR 016.
Last night I ran across the 6O0CW pileup on 40m CW and after opening up the
passband, it seemed as though the signal handling was very good. I had not
spent any time listening to pileups before, it wasn't an A/B test.
My volume control now hovers around 8 to 9 O'clock rather than the 10 to
11 O'clock as before for a comfortable level. With these settings loud
signals "sound" louder. I just loaded the new FW late last night and will
need to spend more time with it, but I am pleased so far. Thanks to the
Elecraft crew for this update.
