Keith,

I think you'll find that it is NaP3 that is doing this. NaP3 has default 
filter settings for each mode and restores those filter settings every 
time you change modes. This happens regardless of whether the mode 
change is initiated from NaP3, from the radio, or from other control 
software.

If all you want is panadapter software without the radio control 
features of NaP3 (for example, if you are using another radio control 
program such as DXLabs Commander), you might want to investigate using a 
panadapter program that does not change radio settings other than the 
frequency, such as TRX-Pan.
