Hi Bruce,

Although not a direct answer to your question I would like to indicate that
on my 17" monitor I have noted in the monitor information box that the
P3SVGA is operating at 1280x1024 at 58Hz and the monitor indicates that optimum
is 1280x1024 at 60Hz. (It only reports a single scan rate). I can also report
that I am not experiencing any reduction in overall size. The display width
on the monitor is identical to the display width on the P3. My monitor is a
Dell 1702FP.

73,
Mike K2MK
