I'm also interested in this operation (although for a different

It may be possible to do full duplex with the sub receiver on a
different band and antenna from main, since it's very well-shielded.
I'll give this a try. Some firmware changes will be required.

Is there a way to get the K3 to operate duplex (Tx on one band while rx on
another)? For the K3 with second rx, of course.
I would like to operate mode A satellite with AO-7 (tx on 2m and rx on 10m).
I'd also monitor a second band while contesting with my K3 without the
expense of buying a second K3 when the one I have already has two rxs.
My antennas are well separated and I have extensive external band pass
filtering for contest use.
