All I can echo lance's post. Given my saver antenna restriction, for me, when at home I will be doing digital

As most people rather let the dust settle (the expert voice their experience) so I/we can get the best results

Subject: Re: [Elecraft] KX3 and Data Mode Interface

Hi Ed,

I also need the same thing, as I am sure many people do. I need to figure out a
solution as small as possible, since my KX3 and whatever additional
cables/interfaces/6m preamplifier, etc etc. need to all fit in the outside pouch of
my laptop computer case for airline travel.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I would THINK that Elecraft probably
would provide cables (eventually, anyway) to allow the KX3 to be used on digital
modes, but maybe it will take some time after the production units are actually going
out the door.

I would have expected that field testers already would have determined the best way
to achieve this type of operation, Ed. So I think it is best to let the dust settle
first and get their input before rushing off to develop some custom interface that
may or may not be necessary with the final KX3...
