Byron,

I hear your problem, but you do need to isolate it to a KPA100 or a base 
K2 problem.
Disconnect the APP power connector from the KPA100 and power the K2 from 
the 2.1mm coaxial power connector on the lower read panel.

Turn the Power Knob up to about 10 watts and see what the output is on 
all band.  If it is 10 watts or greater, go to the extreme and turn if 
up to full power and see what the maximum power from the base K2 can be.

If the base K2 has good power output, but the KPA100 power out is low, 
that is a KPA100 problem, but if the base K2 power output is low, the 
KPA100 may be OK and the base K2 may have a problem.
