[Elecraft] [OT] A question for Elecraft

I've noticed that one can still buy on line the tubes used in my first regen
- type 76 triodes from the early 1930's - for what are probably cheaper
prices after adjusting for inflation than I paid for them in the 1940's.
And, of course, 40673s (with leads) are still available for under $6.
Or how about a UX226 from the mid 1920's for $15?
The issue is finding a large sustainable supply for a manufacturing company
to use in a new design. But for homebrewing, I'd bet that there isn't a part
that was ever made in any quantity what isn't still available.
