Gerald,

I would add one other caution so you don't get bitten by a common
"gotcha".  If you run lines between the K3 and your mic/headphone (also
called LineIn and LineOut on most laptops), make sure you turn off the
Windows system sounds.  These can be transmitted out via the "sound card",
creating transmissions you don't want from your K3.
