I don't think  Elecraft subscribes to the "Hire and Fire " philosophy that seems to be current in most arenas.

 At least, I hope so!

BTW - I started in R&D in 1955.

I spent most of my 37 years working in research, even I would have 
"Staffed up" when I started getting hundreds of orders the first two 
days and more kept pouring in over the next few weeks.
