[Elecraft] K3: Loss of synchronous AM and P3: won't turn off

Hi, folks, I have a couple of problems which, while not show stoppers,
are bugging me.  Things were working fine a few f/w updates ago, but
....

1. Synchronous AM does work.  It used to zero beat quite nicely but
not any more. I think this was working until I installed the K4144XV
RefLock, I suspect, but I'm not sure.

2. Around the same time, my P3 stopped responding to the power switch
on the unit.  It turn on and off fine from the K3 power switch, but it
doesn't respond to its own switch.

Any ideas what I should check?  Thanks!
