Good Evening,
Conditions on twenty were a little weaker than normal while forty
meters was its usual self; starting with decent signals and low QRN but
ending with better signals and higher QRN. On twenty meters my
inverted-V G5RV tuned up nicely. However, on forty meters it did not
want to tune very low. I wound up with an SWR of between 3 to 4 on it
which may be weather related. So I switched to my flat top G5RV and it
tuned up nicely. I ran the net on it but it prefers north south
directions. I heard Ken, W0CZ, off the end of it rather well though.
All the California stations were loud.

    On to the lists =>

   On 14049.5 kHz at 2200z:
K0DTJ - Brian - CA - K3 - 4113
NO8V - John - MI - K3 - 820
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K3 - 457
W8OV - Dave - TX - K3 - 3139
N0TA - John - CO - K3 - 994
K1THP - Dave - CT - K3 - 686
N0AR - Scott - MN - K2 - 4866
W4RK - Bill - MO - KX3 - 112
K6DGW - Fred - CA - K3 - 642

   On 7045 kHz at 0200z:
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K3 - 457
W8OV - Dave - TX - K3 - 3139
WI6O - John - CA - K1 - 922
K0DTJ - Brian - CA - K3 - 4113
K6PJV - Dale - CA - K2 - 5345
N6NZE - Joe - CA
WB6SPX - Jan - CA

It was nice to welcome three new ops to the nets. One more KX3 too.
They sound just as good as all the other Elecraft rigs. Nice tone. One
of these days I need to see a KX3 up close. Looks like it would not be
too difficult to transition from the K2 to the K3 to the KX3. The K1
and KX1 are just a little different :) Good grief, I just realized the
KX3 is the only Elecraft rig I've never used! One day ...
    Until next week stay well,
       73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
