I do not believe there is anything wrong with either K2s or K3s that do not 
put out a full 100 watts on the first SSB syllable.  I have built two K2s 
and two K3s, and the ALC action is very similar on all of them.  Save your 
time trying to do another transmit calibration.  I don't think it will solve 
anything.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!  Roy  W4WFB
