[Elecraft] K3 Sub Receiver / Diversity Question

Hi -

> I just finished installing the sub receiver in my K3 # 4359. Set up the filters, sub synth, etc.The subrx book sez (page 44), that if you press & hold the SUB for 2 seconds or more it will go into Diversity mode. That it does. It also sez that the kHz dot on VFO A will flash, to indicate Diversity mode. That it does. But it also sez on page 45 that when this is done, it sets the sub to the same frequency as the main (VFO A). It does NOT - frequency in VFO B stays right where it was. I did find a way to make it work, but I'm wondering if the book is wrong, if I'm not reading it correctly, or if there is a screw-up in the firmware. I did download the most recent non-beta f/w into the K3.

This keeps it in Diversity mode and "Links" the two VFO's on the same frequency. If it worked as the book sez on page 45, it'd be a lot easier. Any suggestions?
