Hey Tony.thanks for the tip. Sure enough, the #2 synth board was one whole
row of pins closer to the front than it should have been. When aligned in
the socket properly, it works perfectly. Glad I got this working. it's
going to J68 for 2 weeks in August. Much better than that problematic Flex
3000 I took to PJ4 two months ago. It's up for sale.

Same thing happened to me.
My synthesizer board was plugged in offset by one pin.
It's an easy to make error.
Double check your board positioning.
