For them to work even one time is incorrect: MIC+LIN is only valid in
SSB, AM and FM:
Using the front panel of the radio select CW mode, tap the Menu key,
rotate VFO B until you see MIC+LIN, and then rotate VFO A ... you will
see "N/A in CW Mode".
Using the front panel of the radio, select DATA A mode, tap the menu
Key, rotate VFO B until you see "MIC+LIN". The VFO A display will say
"not APPL".
