[Elecraft] Diversity receive - Getting feet wet!

Hi Gang:

Happy 4th!!

Just recently, I connected a 5BTV Hustler vertical to the Aux input on my
K3.  I have an Array solutions receive front end protector in line
connected with BNC connections.  I am being cautious about applied power to
my beam, (Force 12 C3SS at 45 Feet and about 100 feet from the vertical).
I don't yet trust the Front end protector 100% but as time goes by I
probably will.  I do notice the effect of the audio being or seeming to
move around in my head.  Very interesting.  I haven't tried working split
and I see that there are some manipulations that I have to do to get that
done.

I plan to go long wire at some point or some other form of listening
antenna.

I am curious about the experiences that others have had.  Bring it on!!
Ideas welcome.
