[Elecraft] K2 SSB Mods

Earlier this week, mention was made of the K2 SSB Mods at

I'm about to install the KSB2 in my Serial # 7235 K2.  Once I've confirmed
that the unit works OK per the construction manual, should I install the
above mods as a matter of course?

I do intend to eventually drive an outboard linear with my K2
