It is not unusual  for Elecraft to release the manual only just before
shipping. I used the term "preliminary" because last minute changes to the
firmware could change the way specific controls behave, etc. This would
require a rewrite of that page of the manual.

 

Elecraft is still stating Late February for shipments to BEGIN.  I believe
many hundreds have been ordered and it will take some time to ship the
entire order backlog.

Bruce,

If the 'Preliminary' manual is only going to be out in late jan early Feb,
and they are taking orders, when is the KX3 going to actually ship do you
know?
