Hi David
                  I agree you are quite correct; what is concerning me
is that if Both Rx synthesisers are controlled by the TCXO why am I
seeing this shift?

I will be the first to acknowledge that I have done -or- am doing
something wrong in the operation / use of my rig;
at the moment, i tend to think it is a problem with one of the Rx
synthesisers.

(BTW the whoosh is worse when I have the RX set on to an odd number
Least Significant Digit, eg 9 or 7 etc as opposed to a rounded number,
eg "0")

I will carefully go through the Sub Rx set-up procedure again & see if
this fixes the problem.

Thank you & all others for your constructive input.

Eric, VK3AX.
