[Elecraft] KPA500 QSK and non-Elecraft radio

A friend asked me about my KPA500. He read that it runs QSK and he would like to run his IC -781 with the Elecraft in QSK cw. Is there anything other than providing a relay cable from his ICOM to the KPA500 and running the ICOM QSK or is there more to it for a non-Elecraft radio?
