I just bought one too with all the recommendations on this list, and it
works great so far. Just turn the bias on and its plug and play. Don't have
a Heil to compare it to but this will work fine for me.

I used a Heil Pro-Set Plus for several years before my friend, Jim Brown,
urged me to try the CM500. Well, it is a heck of lot more comfortable, the
sound is better, and the mic works much better. Anyone want to buy a Heil
Pro-Set Plus in excellent condition?
