Mark, an RS-35 ought to be plenty capable of powering your K3.
I am using a Drake PS-7 (originally for the TR-7) which doesn't sag at all yet I
am having the same problem with my K3 TX power that you reported...sent a note to
K3 Support and will let you know any information.
