Proximity to your AMP does not matter unless your amp is an un-shielded 
piece of trash, which I doubt,. What matters is proximity to your ANTENNAS!

The only RFI issues I've seen from video monitors of any sort are RF 
trash that THEY generate.  A couple of years ago, I bought a cheapie for 
my shack that was VERY noisy. I killed it with a multi-turn ferrite 
choke on the power cable.
