Elecraft is the best period is my experience, I removed my 20 year old 
Y.... tattoo
when I got my k3 and did a side by side, only thing the ft2k was good 
for was to
hold up the k3 to just the right height.

It's no doubt an unwarranted bias of mine, but personally I tend to
discount the rants from people who post in all caps and expect
satisfaction in less than 24 hours.  Just say'n ....
